- 2 sticks butter
- pinch of cream of tartar
- dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 8 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Boil together the first 3 ingredients for 5 minutes; remove from heat.

3Pour mixture over popcorn in large pan.

4Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Turn out onto waxed paper; work apart.
