- 2 brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 gal. popped popcorn
- 1-1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
Directions

1Combine sugars and margarine in a saucepan.

2Set timer for 5 minutes.

3Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.

4Margarine will be almost melted.

5Remove from heat.

6Add 1 teaspoon baking soda.

7Beat well with a spoon.

8Put popped popcorn in a large turkey roaster.

9Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir to coat.

10Bake at 250F for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
