Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 qt. popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Boil sugar, margarine and syrup slowly for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla, salt and baking soda.

    Pour over popcorn and stir well.

    Put in very large pan and bake for 40 minutes at 250°.

    Stir every 10 or 15 minutes.

    Let cool and store in airtight container.
