- 1/2 lb. margarine (2 sticks)
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box light brown sugar
- 1 c. Eagle Brand milk
Directions

1Melt margarine, then add brown sugar until blended.

2Add milk and Karo syrup.

3Stir constantly until it reaches soft ball stage. It will change color and start to pull away from side of pan. (You can use candy thermometer.)

4Remove from heat and add vanilla.

5Pour into greased pan and refrigerate.

6Turn out onto cutting board.

7Cut into pieces and wrap in wax paper.
