  • 2 (1 1/2-pound) strip steaks, cut with pockets
  • 1 (12-ounce) container fresh Select or Standard oysters, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Maitre d'hotel Butter

Directions

    Stuff each pocket of steak with half the oysters; secure openings with wooden picks. Sprinkle each steak with salt and pepper.

    Place steaks on rack in a broiler pan. Place pan 5 to 6 inches from heating element. Broil steaks 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. To serve, slice diagonally across the grain. Serve steaks with Maitre d'hotel Butter.
