- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. grated raw carrots
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine sugar, Crisco oil and eggs.

2Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

3Sift dry ingredients together.

4Add to Crisco oil mixture.

5Beat at low speed for 1 minute.

6Add grated carrots and nuts.

7Spread batter in greased and floured pan.

8Bake at 300° for 1 hour.

9When cool, spread with cream cheese frosting.
