- 1 lb. bag carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 medium onions cut into thin strips
- 2 medium apples, pared and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. lemon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1Steam carrots.

2In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter.

3Add onions and cook over moderate heat.

4Cover until they are transparent, about 10 minutes.

5Add apple slices and cover.
-
6Continue to cook, just until tender, but still hold their shape, about 5 minutes, depends on variety of apples used.

7Drain carrots and add carrots to skillet; stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper; reheat.

8Yields 6 servings.
