Ingredients

  • 1 box tri-color pasta
  • 2 medium carrots, cut in strips
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 red pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut in strips
  • 1 medium yellow squash, cut in strips
  • 1 c. broccoli pieces
  • 1/2 c. diced red onion
  • mushrooms (if desired)
  • garlic powder/salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • salt and pepper (optional)
  • Italian salad dressing

Directions

    Cook pasta as directed; drain.

    (Add a small amount of butter or oil to prevent sticking.)

    Saute vegetables in garlic powder and butter about 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

    Add basil, salt and pepper.

    Stir into pasta.

    Add Italian dressing to taste. Toss well.

    Can sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
