  • 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
  • 6 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of Tabasco sauce and garlic powder
  • 1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
  • buttermilk (enough to make dough)
  • poppy seed

Directions

    Mix 5 ingredients until blended.

    Work in flour and last buttermilk. Drop by teaspoons onto tin. Sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 350° until golden (15 minutes).
