Cheddar Cheese Mold

Ingredients
- 1 pound Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated
- 1 cup Pecans, Finely Chopped
- 2 cups Mayonnaise
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Finely Chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, Pressed
- 2 dashes Tabasco
- 1 cup Strawberry Preserves
Directions

1Mix all ingredients (except preserves) and press mixture into a mold lined with plastic wrap.

2Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

3Unmold.

4Serve with whole strawberry preserves (or jam) in the center and crackers (Ritz are my preference).

5For a nice touch, put the strawberry preserves in a small bowl in the center of a ring mold.

6Note: For smaller parties, I will often cut the recipe in half and use a small bowl as the mold.
