- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 c. crisp rice cereal
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

2Mix well. Shape into small balls with floured fingers.

3Place on baking sheets.

4Press lightly with fork to 1/4-inch thickness.

5Bake at 325° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
