- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Mix cheese and margarine until creamy.

2Sift dry ingredients together twice.

3Add small amount at a time to cheese mixture. Add water about 1/2 through.

4After all dry ingredients are added, knead it into soft ball.

5Squeeze through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.

7Store in airtight containers.
