Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 12 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 12 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 slices sharp cheddar cheese, quartered (optional)

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion in skillet sprayed with Pam.

    Add water, milk and macaroni.

    Combine seasonings and add to skillet.

    Stir to combine.

    Bring to a boil, cover and simmer approximately 12 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

    Stir in the shredded cheese and simmer a couple more minutes.

    Arrange quartered cheddar cheese slices on top of casserole, cover until cheese melts.

    Serve.
