  • 1 pkg. lemon flavor cake mix (not pudding in mix)
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into chunks (room temperature)
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • confectioners sugar (optional)

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Mix butter and 1 egg in large bowl with electric mixer until crumbly.

    Press in bottom of prepared pan.

    Bake for 8 minutes and remove from oven.
