- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
- 1 tsp. oregano
- salt and pepper
- 14 oz. pkg. Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 eggs
- dash of garlic powder
- 10 cooked lasagna noodles
Directions

1Saute beef and onion in a deep skillet.

2Pour off fat, then add tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer for 30 minutes.

3Add 2 beaten eggs to cottage cheese, salt and oregano.

4Place cooked noodles at the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, alternating the meat and egg and cottage cheese mixture.

5Cover with half of the Mozzarella cheese, then a layer of noodles and repeat.

6Cook in oven at 350° for 30 minutes.

7Let set about 15 minutes before serving.
