Cherry Berry Pie

- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries, thawed
- 1 (16 oz.) can pitted cherries (undrained)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 tsp. red food coloring (optional)
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
Directions

1Drain cherries and berries, reserving 1 cup of their juices. Set fruit aside.

2Combine sugar, juices and cornstarch in pan. Cook until it boils for 1 minute; stir constantly.

3Remove from heat.

4Add butter, almond extract and food coloring.

5Fold in fruit; cool slightly.

6Place one crust on bottom of 9-inch pie plate.

7Add fruit, then other crust.

8Cut slits in top of crust. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

9Cool on rack.
