- 2 sticks margarine (soft)
- 2 c. flour (plain)
- 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (soft)
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 2 drops red food coloring
Directions

1Mix margarine, flour and pecans with your hands.

2Press into bottom of baking dish.

3Bake at 300° for 1 hour; cool.

4Combine cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice.

5Fold in Cool Whip and lightly spread on baked pecan mixture.

6Add 2 drops of food coloring to cherry pie filling and spread this on top of Cool Whip.

7Place in refrigerator 1 hour before serving.
