- 1 c. butter/margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 slightly beaten egg whites
- 2 c. chopped nuts
- 4 doz. candied cherry halves
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Grease sheets.

3Cream butter and sugar. Stir in corn syrup, egg yolks and flour. Chill.

4Roll into 1-inch balls.

5Dip in beaten egg whites and roll in chopped nuts.

6Place on greased sheets.

7Press candied cherry halves into centers. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
