  • 1 c. butter/margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 slightly beaten egg whites
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 4 doz. candied cherry halves

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Grease sheets.

    Cream butter and sugar. Stir in corn syrup, egg yolks and flour. Chill.

    Roll into 1-inch balls.

    Dip in beaten egg whites and roll in chopped nuts.

    Place on greased sheets.

    Press candied cherry halves into centers. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
