- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 1 medium onion, slice
- 1 12 cups soy sauce
- 2 cups vinegar
- 14 cup sugar
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts or 6 bone-in chicken breasts
- 4 large potatoes, washed and sliced into wedges
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch or 4 tablespoons flour
- black pepper
- 12 teaspoon whole black peppercorn
- 4 bay leaves
Directions

1drizzle oil onto pan and turn heat to medium.

2saute garlic and onions until onions become transparent.

3cook chicken in oil until both sides are slightly browned.

4turn heat down, add soy/vinegar mixture, cover and simmer.

5uncover and mix after 6-8 minutes.

6add potatoes, black pepper, stir.

7turn heat off when potatoes have softened.

8dissolve/mix in corn starch, sugar and black pepper.

9add bay leaves.

10* Eat over cooked white rice.
