Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. mayo or salad dressing
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. freeze dried chives
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz. (3 c.) pasta twists
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3 c. romaine, Boston or iceberg lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, coarsely chopped

    Boil breasts.

    Reduce to low heat and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until cooked. Remove, cool and cut up.

    Boil chicken water.

    Add pasta and cook 10 minutes until firm and tender. Drain well. Cook bacon and drain.

    Break into small pieces.

    Add pasta to dressing. Toss. Add rest of ingredients and toss to mix.
