Chicken Barbecue

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer, cut up and skinned with all visible fat removed
  • 3 Tbsp. very fine chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 small (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 3 to 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Boil chicken until tender and chop coarsely and set aside. Put the next 4 ingredients in a large Dutch oven and simmer until onions are clear and tender.

    Add chopped chicken and simmer about 30 minutes.

    Add Worcestershire sauce last.

    More can be added when reheating if desired.

    Just like pork barbecue!!
