- 1 large fryer (whole)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles (use 1/2)
Directions

1Cook chicken with chopped onion in salted water.

2Cool, bone and cut up chicken in bite-size pieces.

3Boil noodles in broth. Add sour cream and soups and mix.

4Add chicken and pour in casserole dish.

5Top with five pieces of bread, coarsely broken and buttered.

6Bake 30 to 40 minutes, uncovered, at 350° until bubbly and browned.
