- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can diced green chilies
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 4 slices crisp cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 medium firm ripe avocado, peel, pit and chop
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Lay chicken breasts in 8 x 12-inch pan.

2Cover with foil; bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

3While chicken cooks, mix cheese and chili.

4Cover each breast with mixture; pat to hold in place. Sprinkle evenly with green onion and bacon.

5Return to oven, uncovered.

6Bake until chicken is white in center of thickest piece and cheese melts, about 10 minutes.

7Scatter avocado over top.

8Serve with sour cream to taste.
