  • 4 oz. mushrooms
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 8 green onions
  • 2 cans beef consomme
  • 2 cans of hot water

Directions

    Saute mushrooms in their juice in a heavy skillet. Add oregano, rice and butter. Chop finely and add ALL of green onions including the top green part. Into a large casserole, put beef consomme and hot water. Add all other ingredients and bake approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour at 450°. When it is finished, all the liquid will be absorbed.
