- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 carrots, coarsely chopped
- 3 celery ribs, coarsely chopped
- 1 (14 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes with their juices
- 2 c. cooked pinto beans
- 3 c. cubed, cooked chicken
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
- 1/3 c. chili powder (mild or hot) to taste
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle beer
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
Directions

1In a small saucepan, heat tomato juice over medium heat until it boils.
