- 2 lb. chicken pieces, skinned
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2-inch pieces ginger, chopped
- 2 tsp. cumin seed, ground
- 3 Tbsp. natural yogurt
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- pinch of chili powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 onions, chopped
- salt
Directions

1Place the garlic, ginger, turmeric, cumin, chili pepper, coriander and yogurt in a large bowl with salt to taste.

2Mix well.

3Add chicken and leave for 4 hours; turn occasionally. Heat the oil in the pan; add the onion and fry until golden. Add the chicken and marinade.

4Bring to simmering point; cover and cook for about 30 minutes, until the chicken is tender.
