- chicken
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. ketchup or 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1/4 c. cold water
Directions

1Singe, wash, dry and cut up chicken.

2Brown it in heated butter or oleo.

3Mix in onion, Accent, salt, ketchup or tomato paste and boiling water.

4Cover and simmer 25 minutes.

5Lift out chicken. Combine cornstarch, curry powder and cold water; stir into gravy. Cook, stirring constantly, until smoothly thickened.

6Return chicken pieces to gravy.

7Cover pan and simmer 15 minutes longer. Serve over rice.
