  • 3 lb. chicken parts, skinned and boned (if desired)
  • 4 large Italian sweet sausages
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned)
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Pierce sausages; simmer in water to cover for 15 minutes. Drain.

    Brown sausages in Pam sprayed pot.

    Remove and brown chicken pieces in pot.

    Spray again if needed.

    Remove meat and cook onions until tender, stirring frequently.

    Do not brown onions.
