  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 3 tomatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. Sauterne wine
  • 2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

Directions

    Sprinkle chicken pieces with seasoned salt.

    Blend spaghetti sauce mix and crumbs.

    Roll chicken in crumb mixture.

    Fry in hot oil in skillet.

    Add wine, tomatoes, mushrooms and remaining crumb mixture.

    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.

    Serve with spinach salad and garlic bread.
