- 6 chicken breasts, halved, skinned and boned
- pepper and garlic powder
- 1 c. rice
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 pkg. frozen pea pods, thawed
Directions

1Sprinkle the chicken with the pepper and garlic powder. Combine rice, chicken broth and soy sauce in 10-inch skillet. Stir.

2Place chicken on top.

3Bring to a boil.

4Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

5Uncover and sprinkle chicken with a little soy sauce, then place pea pods on top of chicken.

6Cover and remove from the heat.

7Let stand 5 minutes.
