  • 1 chicken, boiled and removed from bones
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Place deboned chicken in a large casserole dish.

    Mix water and soup; then pour over chicken.

    Salt lightly.

    Mix melted margarine, buttermilk and flour; pour over layer of soup.

    Pour 2 cups of broth over this and bake at 350° until crust rises and browns (approximately 45 minutes).
