  • 4 or 5 chicken breasts
  • 2 cans mixed vegetables
  • 2 c. strained chicken broth
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 stick real butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Boil the chicken breasts until done.

    Cool and take meat from bones and place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Drain the mixed vegetables.

    Measure out 2 cups strained chicken broth.

    Add the soup to the broth and mix.

    Add the vegetables and mix.

    Pour over chicken.

    Mix the melted butter, flour and milk.

    Pour this mixture over the chicken and vegetables.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until top is brown.
