- 2 to 3 large stewing chickens
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
Directions

1Cut chicken in pieces; cover with water and bring to boil. Skim off fat.

2Boil until tender.

3Add salt when chicken is nearly cooked.

4Remove chicken to cool.

5Pour off broth and save.

6Remove meat from bones.

7Discard bones and skin.

8Grind meat.

9Place meat in kettle on burner.

10Add broth just to cover chicken.

11Add salt to taste; add bouillon.

12Cook about 1/2 hour.

13Stir often. Add broth if needed.

14Keep cover on.

15Cool and store in refrigerator overnight.

16Put in pint jars and cold-pack in boiling water for 3 hours or freeze.
