Chili Cheese Biscuits

  • 2 1/4 c. buttermilk or regular Bisquick mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2/3 c. sour cream or yogurt
  • 1/2 c. (or more) shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Combine biscuit mix, chili powder and onion powder.

    Add sour cream and cheese.

    Mix until moistened. Knead to form smooth dough, about 10 times on lightly floured board.

    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

    Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter dipped in flour.

    Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
