  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 2/3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. dates, finely chopped

Directions

    Beat eggs until thick.

    Add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.

    Add nuts and dates.

    Bake in an 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan at 250° for 30 minutes.

    Cut into small squares while still warm.

    Shape squares into balls or roll in powdered sugar or coconut.
