  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 pkg. pitted dates, cut in quarters
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Add sugar to beaten eggs and mix well. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well.

    Add dates, walnuts and vanilla.

    Mix well. Pour into greased 9-inch pan.

    Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes until brown. Cool and cut in squares.
