- 2 c. half and half
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 10 basic buttermilk biscuits
- whipped cream
Directions

1Combine half and half and butter in a heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat until butter melts.

2Cool.

3Combine eggs, sugar and cocoa; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer 1 minute. Gradually stir in half and half mixture; set aside.

4Crumble biscuits into a lightly greased 2-quart shallow baking dish.

5Add egg mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, covering with aluminum foil after 35 minutes to prevent overbrowning.

7Serve with whipped cream.
