- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. cold coffee
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan or use batter for about 20 cupcakes.

3In a large bowl, mix all ingredients thoroughly.

4The batter will be thin.

5Bake the cake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

6Cupcakes will take about 15 to 20 minutes. This batter is too rich to bake as a layer cake.
