  • 1 1/8 cups baking chocolate chopped
  • 5 5/8 tablespoons butter in pieces.
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • salt
  • 7/8 cup flour sieved
  • 3/4 cup coconut flakes optional

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

    Place the butter and chocolate in a pan, add the sugar and melt on low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Allow to cool.

    In a bowl, gently whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt.

    Add the chocolate mixture to the beaten egg and mix. Add the flour and coconut, and mix well into a thick batter.

    Line a baking sheet with 8 6-centimeter diameter cake molds. Pour in the cake batter into each one..

    Bake for about 15 minutes, and leave to cool.

    Remove from the molds and sprinkle with additional coconut.
