  • 34 cup sugar
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 14 cup cocoa
  • 12 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter, cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 1 12 cups water

Directions

    Sift 3/4 cup sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and 2 tablespoons of cocoa together into a 9 inch square baking pan.

    Stir in milk, butter and vanilla.

    Spread batter evenly in pan.

    In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle over batter.

    Pour water over all (don't mix!)

    and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until top springs back when slightly touched.

    Serve warm.
