- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 4 egg whites
- 1 medium container Cool Whip
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- dab of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large angel food cake
Directions

1Heat chocolate chips over hot water; add beaten egg yolks. Whip egg whites with dab of salt.

2Add sugar.

3Add chocolate and egg yolk mixture to whites.

4Fold in Cool Whip.

5Break cake up into small pieces.

6Put layer of cake in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour 1/2 of chocolate mixture over cake.

7Repeat layers.

8Chill. Dessert is better if it sits in refrigerator overnight.
