- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 12 cup cocoa
- 14 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together.

2Beat in egg.

3Stir in cocoa, milk and vanilla.

4Stir flour, baking powder and salt together and add along with nuts (if desired).

5Mix well.

6Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased pan.

7Bake in 375F oven for 10-12 minutes.

8Variation: omit nuts and replace with 1 cup (or more) chocolate chips.

9Variation: sprinkle with confectioners' (icing) sugar after baking.
