  • 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 12 cup cocoa
  • 14 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar together.

    Beat in egg.

    Stir in cocoa, milk and vanilla.

    Stir flour, baking powder and salt together and add along with nuts (if desired).

    Mix well.

    Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased pan.

    Bake in 375F oven for 10-12 minutes.

    Variation: omit nuts and replace with 1 cup (or more) chocolate chips.
