- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 18 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt butter in pot.

2Add vanilla.

3In a 6-quart pot (a pressure cooker works great) pour milk over the sugar.

4Put this on high heat and stir constantly.

5Once it boils, reduce heat a bit and boil for 6 1/2 minutes.

6Remove from heat and add butter, chocolate morsels and then nuts.

7Stir until thoroughly blended. Pour in a 13 x 17-inch pan.

8Let stand overnight (covered.)
