- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. cream or large can Carnation and enough water to make 2 c.
- 3 egg yolks (reserve whites for meringue)
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients in saucepan.

2Add beaten egg yolks and cream.

3Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.

4Add margarine and vanilla.

5While mixture cools slightly, make meringue.

6Put chocolate mixture into baked crust; top with meringue.

7Bake in oven at 350° until meringue is slightly brown.
