  • 1 c. butter or oleo or 1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa (may be heaping)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cream together butter and shortening. Add sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture. Bake in 10-inch pan at 325° for 80 minutes.
