- 3/4 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Put flour, sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt in a deep dish baker.

3Stir to mix well.

4Add milk and oil.

5Stir until well blended.

6Sprinkle brown sugar, remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and chocolate chips over the batter.

7Mix vanilla with water and pour evenly over the top (try almond extract instead of vanilla sometime).

8Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until surface looks dry and brownie-like.

9Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
