Ingredients: 2 c. flour; 2 c. white sugar; 1 stick oleo; 1/2 c. shortening; 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa; 1 c. water; 2 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1/2 c. sour milk; 1 tsp. soda

2 c. white sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda

Directions

Mix the flour and sugar in a large bowl.

Bring the oleo, shortening, cocoa and water to a boil in saucepan.

Pour over dry ingredients and mix.

Add the eggs, vanilla, salt and sour milk with soda in it.

Pour in jelly roll pan, 11 x 17-inches.

Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Five minutes before cake is done, start frosting.
