  • 4 oz sugar
  • 4 oz butter
  • 6 oz self raising flour
  • 2 whisked eggs
  • 3 oz cocoa powder

    Preheat oven 200C

    In a large bowl mix together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy

    Beat in the egg a little at a time

    Sift the flour and fold into mixture

    Add the cocoa powder and mix well

    Put mixture into a grease-lined cake tin

    Bake in the oven for 20 mins

    Leave to cool on a cooling rack then tuck in!
