Chocolate-Walnut Puffs

  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 egg whites
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Melt chocolate chips over hot water.

    Beat egg whites until frothy; add dash of salt.

    Gradually add sugar to beaten eggs. Add vinegar and vanilla.

    Fold in melted chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.

    Remove at once to racks to cool.
