  • 1/2 Tbsp. fresh ground ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 1/2 lb. tomatoes
  • olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional; omit for low-sodium version)

Directions
